Hello everyone, it's your host, Pete Davis here.

Last week, we at Current Affairs had our first ever live show.

It was at the Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C.

It was a total hoot.

We sold out 400 tickets, had a lot of fun, had some special guests, both on stage,

and in the audience, it was a joy all around and we hope to

go to other cities soon if you missed it and we'll be back in dc sometime in the not so distant future

and there's been a lot of calls to share recordings of the live show so here it is this

file is the recording of the live show. So here it is. This file is the recording of the live show. But

we were worried, however, about sharing it because we wondered if a lot of the fun of the live show

would be lost without you being there. There was a lot of visual, experiential elements to the

show. So here's what we thought. We're going to release it.

Here's the recording after my intro. You can listen to it if you want, but be warned. We have

warned you. It might not be that good as just an audio recording. That's why we have also unlocked

a bonus episode this week, the Mr. Rogers one, so that if you don't like this live show recording, you still had an episode this week.

But I also think this recording is still pretty fun.

And to prepare you for some of the visual things you might not understand, I thought I'd just give you some of the visual elements that you missed. So one is

Sparky Abraham, our finance editor the entire time, was dressed as a squid costume. If you see a

reference to that, that's what it was referring to. We also had a psychedelic Chomsky drop video.

Stay tuned for that. During the nuisance or

misses segment, Nathan had a volcano, and at the end, he lit up the volcano. Imagine that.

During Brianna and Leida's segment at the beginning, they showed five pieces of art on the screen.
