It’s a live podcast brought to you from the Möet & Chandon Summer House, in London! This week we are discussing the story gone viral, of party-girl-fraud, Anna Delvey. Are we living through the golden age of scamming?

Also today, Love Island and it’s golden homogenised beauty types. Do producers of structured reality shows owe us a more realistic body type; or should we expect nothing less from a show which is a platform for Instagram influencers-in-waiting? BooHooMan awaits.

Welcome to episode 59 of The Highly, the weekly news and pop culture podcast brought

0:23.9

to you by Jan Lysdolle Alderton and Pandora Sykes live from the Merton

0:28.2

Shandon Summer House. If you're listening to this as a podcast it is no longer

0:32.2

live just in case you weren't sure about the machinations of a podcast. We are so

0:36.8

happy to be here at the Moet Summer House. Mert is something that we feel very

0:40.2

passionately about. We're well aware that there is a 543 tradition of a glass of

0:45.9

champagne being raised which we know will happen. It's almost 548. We may have to

Mercury she keeps Moet and Shandon in a pretty cabinet. Let them eat cakes she

born. But anyway it's still an attitude we hope to channel while pairing with

1:16.5

our wonderful partner and host for this evening Moet and Shandon. Diving into the

1:20.7

mailbag this week we got an email from Rose who is a volunteer on a joint

1:25.6

project with Jurex and a charity called The Unmentioned Aboles whose aim is to

1:29.6

empower refugees and other displaced people through dignity through hygiene.

1:33.9

They do this by providing reproductive education and distributing undergarments,

1:38.8

feminine hygiene products and contraceptives in refugee camps and

1:42.6

programs. Their aim is to build the world's first ever sexual reproductive

1:46.3

health web and app platform. Whilst 89% of refugees surveyed have said they

1:51.2

would like reproductive health education only 8% would attend in person classes
