Welcome in. This is the very first episode of The Scramble.

Today is Tuesday, January 4th, 2020. I'm Rick Damon, that right there.

Andy Lack. And Andy, the first ever time we are getting together

to talk golf amongst many other things that might come up over the course of these episodes.

Rick, I'm so excited. We've obviously been talking about an idea like this for a little bit now,

and we were finally able to conceptualize it together to get it

to go. And I can't wait to get started, man. As you mentioned, we'll see where this goes. We want

there to be a lot of listener interaction. We have a rough outline, but if it goes off the rails,

it goes off the rails. And the feedback so far when you made the

announcement has been fantastic. So I'm excited to get going, man. Let's do it. It's a very rough

outline. Let's let's be real. I've got a couple of bullet points. We'll see where the conversation

takes us. We are certainly live on YouTube right now. If there are comments, questions,

concerns,

happy to interact with those. And the replays will be available on YouTube. The audio will be

available in the feeds afterwards. But the idea of this whole thing, Andy, is the namesake.

It's the scramble, right? It's kind of the way I wanted to go with 300 yards to

unknown is I wanted to stay golf adjacent, talk about things in golf, but golf goes in a lot of

different directions. And sometimes we have to have those conversations as well. So it kind of leaves

us open to really whatever we want to do here. Absolutely. And I mean, you have such a strong

data background. I'm a big data guy too, but I also have a bit of an architecture background.

We both love to play DFS. We both love to bet. But we also both love to just talk golf in general and make weird less and talk random storyline.

So that's kind of what we were hoping for with the scramble is that it's going to be kind of an all-encompassing golf program where you can kind of get anything you need.
