back up with our live on purpose devotional. So without further ado, sweet tea is going to take

him from here. And I got I got she's sweet tea. I'm Mr. Coffee. Yes. Okay you guys. That was a

slurp if I've ever heard one. Hey people who don't watch on YouTube, they need the ASMR

of us lurping the coffee. Trust me. If these people drink coffee, they know. You know what I mean?

You know that first sip when you're just like, oh, praise the Lord. Yes, it is a glorious moment for

sure. Okay. Anyways, you guys. The devotional today is called Sharks and Dolphins. And the verse is

second Samuel 22 to says this, the Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. When I read

second Samuel 22 to, I'm not going to lie, my mind goes to Sharks and Dolphins. You may think

that's strange and well, it is, but my mind is just like that. I've read news stories about Sharks

trying to attack someone and Dolphins swimming up to surround the potential victim, keeping that

person safe and maybe even saving his or her life. It's like the Dolphins form a fortress around

the person delivering them from injury or death. My friend Laney is like that. I tell her all the time

that she reminds me of a dolphin. When fear tries to attack someone, she has this amazing ability

to surround that person with the truth of God's word. She uses the word to build a fortress around

the person that fear can't get through. She's done that for me many times. Once when I was about to

go on tour, I had a full on panic attack. I was sitting in the hallway crying and saying, I cannot

do this. Next thing I know, Laney was flying down the hallway saying, no, no, no, no, no, no. She

looked like an angry mom pointing her finger as she went on to say, you do not get to do this.

You do not get to quit because of fear. God has done too much in you. It is so good to have a

friend to remind you of truth. To say, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power,
