Summary

A quiet nighttime walk through Fairhaven’s historic trails was supposed to be a casual ghost-spotting trip with two friends—one a skeptic, the other a believer. But the deeper they went into the dark woods, the stranger it became. Shadow figures flitted along the trail edges, unseen footsteps stirred the brush, and far from any homes or roads, the chilling sound of a baby crying echoed from the trees. By the time they reached the old bridge—where an overwhelming wave of nausea always struck—tension was high. With no ghost-hunting gear on hand, they relied only on their eyes, ears, and instincts. What they found was enough to make even the skeptic think twice.
