And most people default into this idea of feminism is this idea that men are contemptible,

which is, of course, the idea behind the smashing the patriarchy and women need to be just

like them and have the same equality.

The Crusades were a very belated response to many centuries of Muslim conquests,

in which two-thirds of the old Christian world had already fallen to Muslim conquest.

And our faith is strong not because of the fervor of its affection but because of the object to which

it clings Christ and there is no stronger faith than a really timid grasping to the

suffering death and resurrection of Jesus.

The long series of military campaigns that have come to be known as the Crusades have a bad

reputation among historians and especially among people who don't know history. But the more you know about the Crusades have a bad reputation among historians and especially among people who don't know

history. But the more you know about the Crusades, the clearer the picture becomes that many of them

failed to achieve their objective. And in the end, they just kind of fizzled out. The real winner,

after all was said and done, was of all things, the Ottoman Empire, the inhabited Islamic world, which stood until, well, the first part of the 20th century.
