And what brought you to North Wales?

Originally I came to study a master's degree in 2019. I had a friend who lived in West Wales and heard her speaking Welsh one time with her parents and was like, oh, this sounds cool. And when I was looking into doing a degree in linguistics,

I found a bilingualism program in Bangor,

and I was really, really interested in studying.

Bilingual is in a place where lots of people are bilingual every day.

How far have you got with learning Welsh?

So I'm conversationally fluent, I would say.

I could have a good chat about everyday things.

Sometimes I'll go a whole day only speaking Welsh or I guess it's

mostly wenglish but that's the Welsh around here. Speaking to Sean is a

wonderful experience because when she starts talking about the Welsh language she's so passionate you know when somebody's face just lights up
