Got kids? Hi, I'm Heidi St. John, and if you've got kids, and if you're a mom and you're

listening to me today, chances are pretty good that you've got kids. I want to talk to

you about the importance of children today. I'm kind of stuck on this topic because yesterday

we were talking about training our children, and today I just want to talk about rejoicing

in the fact that God has given us children. Psalm 127 3 says, Behold, children are a heritage

from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is a reward. Wow! Isn't that counter to the culture

that we live in? The fruit of the womb, the Bible says, is a reward. Check it out. If

you scroll down to Proverbs 17 verse 6, it says, Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,

and the glory of children is their fathers. You know, I am learning this firsthand. We

have just experienced the joy of welcoming our first grandchild into our family. And I'll

tell you what, there's nothing like it in the whole world. So much to told me how

amazing it was. I would have had grandchildren first. It's all of the newborn, and none

of the night shift is looking into the eyes of this beautiful little boy who is being raised
