And so I'm very excited to welcome to the show for the first time ever. Lauren Perretra, welcome to the damage report.

Very glad to have you here. I've been a fan of your content on Instagram and YouTube for some time. And also a long time front of the show, Jordan Yule was like, why haven't you had her on yet? We gotta have you on. So we're very excited. For people who might not be familiar with your work, what are some of the things that you like to talk about? What do you consider your news beat to be?

Yeah, so my current claim to fame is that I have more subscribers than Katie Miller.

And that is a woman who, for those who are not familiar, married Stephen Miller on purpose.

And now she's building a podcast on the backs of trafficked immigrants.

So I talk a lot about immigration. I talk a trafficked immigrants. So I talk a lot about immigration.

I talk a lot about foreign policy.

I talk a lot about human rights, all through the lens of civics and civic engagement and activism.

That's awesome.

It's a great point about Katie Miller.

What a choice.

Like if you want to send a signal of the type of person you are, you like spending time with Stephen Miller for free. For free. I don't get it. Also I've for a long time, I've been getting incredible, like I, you know, I acknowledge that I'm just some guy with a YouTube channel or whatever. And so it is great that on the internet, you can just start up a show. And the barrier to entry has never been lower than it is right now. But I'm also like, I kind of feel like at a certain point, a lot of people are getting podcasts that arguably don't necessarily have to have a podcast. And I think that she is like the ultimate culmination of that. Why does she have a show? She doesn't need to produce content. She's not interesting. She doesn't have perspective, certainly not that she's being inflicted on other people. Something needs to be done about these podcasts. Maybe like a, I don't know, like a $10 sign up fee or something that might weed out some of the wives of the terrible members of this regime. But anyway, I am glad to have you on. We do have a lot to talk about today.
