Today's talk comes from Pastor Ben Stewart. Well, one of my daughters turned 13 yesterday.

Yep. So we now have two teenage girls in the home,

and we celebrated by playing laser tag. And I won't tell you all the details, but I will say that we, our team primarily of middle school girls, dominated the fifth grade boys' birthday party.

Crushed them.

And part of it was because we challenged them for the high ground,

so we were able to win.

But probably most importantly, it's because we had superior numbers.

Because my daughter Sparrow is an inviter.

And so when we asked her about her birthday party, what she wanted to do,

she said, I want to invite everybody in my grade. And she did. And so we had superior numbers,

and we're less victorious. But I mentioned it because that spirit, that inviting spirit,

is also a hallmark of the early church, that God is on the move

in the midst of us, and we want to invite you to join the party, making space for everyone.

That's where we are. You can illustrate it this way as we think about the book of Acts that Luke

wrote. It's kind of like this.

This is a Hoberman's sphere. Some of you know this. Very popular children's toy in the 90s.

Now interestingly used it for a lot of breathing techniques. Have you noticed that online? People

are like breathe in and out and something about it helps you calm down. I don't know. I haven't

tried. But it was made in the 80s by Chuck, Chuck
