God, it says in Romans 4 or 5, justifies the ungodly.

And Proverbs 1715 says that a person who justifies the ungodly is an abomination to

the Lord. So that's the problem that Paul had to

wrestle with. It was the biggest problem he had. That verse, God justifies the ungodly, is really one of the most

explosive statements in the Bible.

And if we slow down and think about it, it also raises a massive question.
