We're calling today's subscriber who submitted the story Brent. So this all happened when Brent was at soccer camp.

And so Brent went to the soccer camp every single year. And it just happened that this year, he encountered the emo kid at soccer camp.

So anyways, this was just another summer of Brent going to soccer camp. His mom dropped him off,

and once again, he was pretty excited to go. Unfortunately, some of the friends he made from the

year before, they didn't show up this time. So he kind of, like, was kind of very proactive about

finding people, you know,

meeting new people, and trying to make some new friends. So anyways, in the very beginning of

soccer camp, they had kind of a get to know other people type deal. And all of a sudden, right,

Brent sees this girl. And she was at kind of like the girl's soccer camp. So it was kind of split

up like boys soccer camp and girls soccer camp. However, it was all under the same kind of like the girl's soccer camp. So it was kind of split up like boys soccer camp

and girls soccer camp. However, it was all under the same umbrella of like the soccer camp

program. So they would eat lunch together, do non-socer activities. But like the morning soccer

practices were kind of split up by gender like that. And so anyways, right, right away,

Brent saw this girl, Emily. And he immediately

kind of fell in love with her, not actually, but it was like, ohm gee, lull, she's cute. I'm gonna have to,

I'm gonna try and hit. No, I'm just kidding. He's like, I don't know, he's like, he's gone to

soccer camp. He's not trying to hit, bro. That's crazy. But anyways, right, so she's going to be an important character later on.

But for the meantime, we don't need to think about her because someone much more important comes

into the picture. So while Brent is thinking about like, oh my God, look at that girl over there.

I got to start talking to her. That's crazy. He accidentally bumps into this guy. And you look,

turns around.
