Welcome everyone to the damage report after Real Helva News Day.

Wow, yesterday was something.

So it's both good that we're a morning show because that means that every day we get to

come here and we get the first crack at all of the big news.

But it also means that if major momentous news happens at any time after 10 PM Pacific,

we miss out on it for almost a full day.

And yesterday was I think objectively one of the most momentous, incredible domestic

news days for Donald Trump, the future of his presidency in whatever format it may take

that we've had so far during his administration.

And that is obviously because I'm sure this is no surprise to you because of the charges

and guilty pleas of both his personal lawyer and fixer and also his former campaign chairman

and chief advisor during a major part of the campaign.

And so for a good portion of the show, we are going to be talking about that.

We'll be not only analyzing it ourselves in studio, but we'll be bringing in a guest

who was actually involved in some of the initial charges against Michael Cohen.

He will be joining us to talk about that.

But with all of that big news, the scandals, the guilty pleas and all of that, there was

also a congressman indicted for corruption yesterday.

I don't know if you actually noticed that, but it's a California congressman Duncan Hunter.

And we are lucky enough to be joined today by his Democratic opponent in this year's

congressional election.

So lots to get to obviously.
