I found this note.

Oh my gosh, I can't even tell you.

It's so sad. Okay, it's so sad. But I found this note from,

I don't know what year it was, but I think it was probably like 2016, 2017. And I wrote,

it was a list of all the ways I was failing. Like I was like, I'm failing, you know, as a leader. I'm failing, you know, on these big projects. I'm failing as a partner. I'm failing as, you know, like I'm failing when it comes to becoming a mom. Like I just, it was this long list of basically in every, in every corner of my, I wrote that I was failing.

And I found it recently.

And I was just like, oh, my gosh.

You know, I think during that period where I was burnt out, what I was really lacking in the most was self-compassion.

And when I became a mom, I had this moment where I was looking at my daughter and I was just thinking like, look at this perfect being. And we are all born so perfect and like so special.

And I was thinking like, I want, you know, I was like, at what point is she going to look at her perfect little body and say like, oh,

it's chubby here, this, that, the other thing.

Like, I was like, I don't want that for her.

And if I don't want that for her, if I want her to learn to love herself, then I have to work on how I talk to myself, how I am in relation to myself.
