Hi, park enthusiasts. I'm your host, Delia Diambra. And the case I'm going to tell you about today is one of those missing person stories that almost feels like it could be a book, except it isn't. It takes place in two different recreation spaces in California, the Sierra National Forest and Yosemite National Park. And if you know anything about the American West, you know that those are two very large natural areas full of woods, mountains, cliffs, and of course, predatory wildlife.

For this episode, I was able to obtain more than 130 pages of law enforcement records, which were super helpful in deciphering
