You can feel when something starts to shift.

And it feels like that right now.

This week brings a Webby Award, the Elizabeth Taylor Bold Voice Award, an honor at the

Washington area Black Journalist Association, and a real conversation with Tina Smith.

And at the same time, Donald Trump hits a new low in the polls, and some of his most loyal

supporters are starting to turn on him.

That shift matters.

Let's talk about it.

Here's what I know about this.

I have, well, it's what I don't know.

I don't know why we went in.

I don't know what the goals were.

I don't know how we'll know when we've succeeded.

Here's what I do know.

Thirteen American service people

have lost their lives. 3,000 people in Iran have lost their lives, most of them civilians.

And not to mention the school girls.

The school, those little girls in that school, that is a war crime to bomb, you know.

This is a Pentagon that basically has disbanded the part of the institution, this massive

institution, trillions of dollars.

They disbanded the part that is there to make sure that you minimize civilian harm.

And that's what they, that's what they did.
