Summary
This is a Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC EPISODE!
While stationed at FE Warren Air Force Base, a young airman thought exhaustion was playing tricks on him. First, it was the sound of boots running through an almost empty 1800s cavalry dormitory — footsteps so heavy they shook the doorframe. But when he stepped into the hallway to confront whoever was making the noise… there was no one there.
Months later, miles from base in the desolate prairie of northern Colorado, he and a fellow airman encountered something even stranger. A lone man in coveralls and a cowboy hat walking a gravel road in the middle of nowhere — long after midnight.
They slowed down to check on him. Moments later, he was directly in front of their truck. And then… he wasn’t. Others stationed there had seen him too.
So the question remains — who is walking those roads after dark?

You know, maybe nobody else is coming down this road, but I've got really bad eyesight at night. So you're just a moving target that I can't even see. Yeah, it's like you're really setting yourself up to get killed. And sometimes I wonder, maybe that's their goal. I'm really not quite sure. There was one not long ago over in my area. |
