Summary

Picking up where we left off in Batch 3, Noah and Sara have been trapped miles beneath the Denver International Airport for an undetermined amount of time and have been sending messages to a stranger on the outside known to us as The Narrator. Noah and Sara separated and Noah was recaptured and is now being held captive by Sara's sadistic clone, Harper. Meanwhile, the real Sara is rounding up allies to help rescue him. The Narrator, is their only hope on the surface, and he has been identified by The Collective and is now on the run too. Escaping Denver, batch four, episode one, The Coward. Damn it, y'all, I told you to give him a minute.

0:25.7

Oh, sorry, Spence.

0:27.2

You're recording?

0:28.4

Thinking about it.

0:29.5

Yeah.

0:30.2

Well, good luck.

0:31.5

0:32.3

You two out.

0:34.1

I'll leave it in.

0:35.9

Screw it.

0:39.3

We're back. I was hoping you wouldn't hear a voice outside of my own, but she, my friend,

0:47.3

My name.

0:49.3

She called me Spence and Harper called me Spence.

0:51.3

They both work because that's technically who I am, but that's not how we know each other. My name hasn't been and shouldn't be the focus. If you're a returning listener, you know how much work we have to do. And if you're new, well, you've got some listening homework. But we're happy to have the fresh ears on this. Maybe some fresh theories. I am, of course, the poor Schmo who receives all the voice messages from Noah and Sarah,

the two people trapped in the labyrinth beneath the Denver International Airport.

1:18.6

They started out as captives, but they broke out.

1:21.6

But they were still miles below ground in a nightmare hellscape of unnamed creatures,

1:26.6

military kill squads,

1:28.4

and alien ships. So I don't know if I'd really call them free. Are they getting closer to the

1:33.6

surface? I honestly can't tell. But they're learning more and seeing more, so it's not in vain.

1:40.6

Actually, we should revisit the whole captive thing as when we left off at the end of Batch 3, Noah was back to being a captive.
