All righty, hello, I'm gonna be one of welcome to it. It is the Derek Hunter podcast from the 18th of August, 2022. Happy Thursday to you.

0:22.5

As you'll hear me explain, I have COVID, so that's why I sound like absolute hell. I don't feel like absolute hell. I don't feel great, but I feel like absolute hell. Not a lot of energy. I threw it all into the show today, and so I did do a show today, and I thought, you know what? I'm gonna just do cheat, and I'm gonna cut that show in half, and I'm gonna do half today, and half tomorrow, because why not? You know?

0:52.5

I'm gonna do you get about a half an hour show here? You get about a half an hour show there tomorrow, friend of mine, Keith said that the yesterday's show, these had orgasms that have lasted longer than that, to which I reminded him that his wife had not. So I want to give him something that he can try to satisfy a woman too. Good luck to you, Keith, knock yourself out. All right, so if it seems a little dated on Friday, that's just what's going on. So without any further ado, let's start the show.

1:22.5

We got a lot to go and on, a lot to talk about. If it sounds like my voice is messed up, it's only because my voice is messed up. Tested positive for COVID this morning, so good times are hand by all. Yesterday we went to Traverse City, Michigan, beautiful place Traverse City, the day before we went to Mackinac Island, and went to Traverse City yesterday, started feeling like crap, started feeling crummy, thought, you know, fresh air, right off of Lake Michigan.

1:52.2

Well, not Lake Michigan, but the Bay of Traverse City Bay, Grand Traverse, but I don't know what they'll call it, whatever, it's big body of water.

2:02.4

And I thought, oh, some fresh air, some sun, soak up some vitamin D, whatever it is, it's to cure for what ails you.

2:08.8

And I just kept feeling worse and not not horrible. I never felt horrible. I always felt just off, but I kept getting a little bit worse.

2:17.5

So I came back to my dad's, immediately went into the bedroom, tried to take a nap, thought maybe it was tired, so I hadn't slept all that well.

2:26.4

Didn't really fall asleep, couldn't fall asleep.

2:29.0

Well, cop and said, you know what, I'm just not going to risk it. I went into the other room, closed the door, and tried to sleep, tried to rest.

2:38.0

Watch that Nicholas Cage movie, the, I can't remember the incredible weight of unbearable talent or something like that.

2:45.3

Really funny, what I saw, I ended up falling asleep eventually to it.

2:50.0

And I woke up this morning, I had a mild fever last night, I took a shower, and I woke up this morning.

2:57.7

I still feel not 100%, but I feel much better than I did yesterday.

3:02.9

And maybe that's the night quill talking, maybe it's the day quill talking, maybe it's the Tylenol talking, whatever it is.

3:08.6

Something's talking to me, and it feels all right.

3:11.7

But my voice is a little messed up, and I took two COVID tests, and both were positive, so I was like, ah, damn it.

3:18.8

So I am hiding, actually, when I was walking around, I went out to the road, the dirt road here, and I saw like five deer running around this morning

3:30.4

before I came in and started doing the show.

3:33.0

So maybe that's a good omen, I don't know, but I feel okay.

3:37.3

I don't feel 100%, I'm a little sweaty, my fever is, I don't know, maybe my fever is broken because I'm a little bit sweaty.

3:44.1

But my fever is down to like 99.3, and then it was 85 or 985, that'd be trouble.
