1:09.9	This is part two of the COVID Chronicles.
1:19.3	So we left off last week with me talking about what it was like working in the COVID ICU at Kings County and just the different experiences that I had working in the
1:27.3	height of a pandemic in the epicenter and what it was like working on a total makeshift ICU with people who were flown in from all over the country with limited supplies and extenuating circumstances and I honestly could turn that part of the conversation into 32 episodes in and of themselves.

2:09.3	covid experience is what happened when i started realizing that oh shit i'm getting sick

2:20.6	with that is looking back, I am 100% positive that two or three factors led to me getting COVID.
2:30.6	The first thing is PPE. Now, I know this is something that is, you know, a very heavily covered subject,
2:37.9	so I don't need to spend tons of time on this, but we were using the same mask for five, six,
2:43.6	seven shifts in a row. And think about it like this. When you get a nice new pair of shoes,
2:49.6	the shoes fit great. And eventually over time,
2:53.3	the shoes still fit, but they start to get a little broken in. You can slide them on and off
