Welcome to the Jesus Image podcast.

This morning, I'm going to preach on the cost of the anointing, the price of the anointing.

I've been preparing this for a little while now and just God's been speaking to my heart.

And I really feel like, you know, I know I'm young. I try to be

young. I know I'm younger than many people that have paid such a heavy price. I have so far to go.

I'm still on my journey with the Lord, but we all have to pay a price to say yes to Jesus. Amen? Say that again.

We all have to pay a price to say yes to Jesus. He is holy. He's not cheap. The anointing is not for sale.

It is costly. Following Jesus will cost you everything. Following Jesus will cost you everything.

Following him will cost you everything.

And you have to learn to give your life away to him because he is so worthy.

And because he's so good, he blesses us when we say yes. But we don't say yes for the blessings. We say yes for him.

We say yes because he is so worthy to say yes to. And I know there's so many young people that

attend Jesus' image, and I would say if I had to guess maybe 80% of our following is probably younger than

Michael and I. I pretty much, I know that by the way. And if you're older, we need you. I love

you. Thank you so much for being here. We do. We need you. We need the older generation.

We need the fathers and mothers. We need people that have paved away for us. And I'll be the first to say, we're not here.

Of course, it's all by the grace of God, but we're not here because Michael and I plowed our own way.

Many people paid a price.

Many people that we know, many people that will probably never know until we get to heaven

paid a price for us to step

into what God is calling us into right now. So we need the older generation and you young kids,

we need to honor our fathers and our mothers and the ones that went before us. Our grandparents
