As you guys see from the title, today we're talking about the cost of ignoring the call and we're coming from the book of Esther. We're actually

going to be doing an Esther series so I pray that you guys join me on this series. I pray that

you guys follow along and read the different chapters with me and see what the Lord

reveals to you but as for today we're going to be talking about Esther chapter one

and the title is The Cost of Ignoring the Call so grab your journals so I know that you guys are all familiar with the book of of Esther chapter one talks about the king and it talks about queen Vashti which was the

queen before Esther. So in Esther chapter one God allowed the verses 10 through 20 to stand out to me

and I'm going to be sharing with you guys six things that got allowed to stand out

when it comes to the cost of ignoring the cause. And if you guys are familiar with

the story we know in Esther chapter one that the king had through a banquet

for all of the people in the town and you know he was just

showing them that he's very wealthy and he was saying drink have some wine drink until you get

tired telling the servants make sure they cups they feel keep pouring it up he was popping bottles he had

the fireworks come out he had the dancers the bottle girls with the sign that said

king like he was really doing his big one in Esther chapter one so the king was throwing a banquet and Queen Vastry was

also throwing a banquet for the women. So that's what it's talking about in Esther chapter

one versus one through ten. But then when we get to verse ten it literally says on the seventh day when the king was

high in spirits from wine he commanded the seven men who served him to bring
