Ephesians 1 verses 8 to 10 to reveal how the entire universe is summed up in Christ. This

We're going to go back to Ephesians now and move a little farther along in our study.

But let me pray one more time before we jump into this text tonight and ask God's help.

Lord, as we look at this first chapter of Ephesians again, there are some

breathtaking truths here.

They are so big and so weighty and so broad and so wonderful that I feel utterly inadequate

to properly assess them or portray them. So I ask for your help.

Holy Spirit, come.

This is your word that you have inspired in Paul's mind and pen.

Grant, I pray, that you would assist us to understand them and to feel them

and to conform to them and to be shaped by them and to live out of them,

make them a springboard of worship and obedience.

Now I pray, in Jesus' name, amen.
