I would say that I don't always do it this way because sometimes you just get so excited to mow, but I think you should weed whack first,

so then all the clippings, if you are bagging it, get sucked up in the mower and then it's good there.

So I would weed whack first. The clipping is a good point but for

efficiency sake you want to weed whack after. That's what I do. Yeah.

Because then you know exactly what you have to weed whack, you're not guessing.
