0:36.2	And before I get into anything else, I want to mention that today's
0:39.5	podcast was organized by Paradise Four Kids Global, and that includes Father Thames' Orthodox
0:48.8	Mission in Sierra Leone. That's West Africa. And his work there is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ
0:57.9	and to meet the needs of the poor in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
1:06.5	A little bit about this mission, this mission called Paradise for Kids.
1:12.1	This mission is dedicated to fulfill the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Matthew

1:21.6	The point here is to help those who are hungry, to feed those who do not have food,
1:31.6	to take care of the thirst of those who do not have the basics of clean water,
1:38.8	to clothe the naked, to care for the sick,
1:42.9	to reach out to those who are forgotten by society, and to be good stewards
1:50.0	in the vineyard of our Lord. Why? So that we can hear the words, well done, good and faithful
1:58.6	servant. You've been faithful over a few things. I will put you in charge
2:03.4	of many things. Come, share your master's happiness. And on a personal note, let me say that many of you
2:11.6	listening to my voice right now may recall that I almost died two times last year.
2:20.8	And the one thing that I recognized when I came out of a coma last year in the month of June
2:29.4	was the thought, did I do enough for those who are poor and downtrodden?
2:38.1	If I had been ushered into the presence of the Lord, would I have done enough in his service?
2:47.0	And I think that that very thought of taking care of the poor and downtrodden ought to be foremost in all of our thoughts.
