Well, today's the anniversary of the death of Chuck Colson, who founded the Colson Center,

as well as these daily breakpoint commentaries. Chuck had a very public and highly scrutinized

conversion to Christ, one that involved political scandal, C.S. Lewis and federal prison. It led to a

lifetime of ministry, especially through prison fellowship.

Every Easter, in fact, after his conversion, Chuck went back to prison to share that indeed

Christ had risen from the dead. And he often would share that it was his experience in political

scandal that in the end convinced him of the resurrection. Here's Chuck Colson.

As Paul writes in First Corinthians, the historical fact of Christ's resurrection is the only

basis of our hope.

Without the resurrection, our faith is futile.
