Tonight, on The Readout, we will contend that a trial of these 19 code defendants will

take four months, and that does not include jury selection.

They're in excess of 150 witnesses that the state intends to call.

Prosecutors of the Georgia election interference case say they're ready to try all 19 codefendants

together, including Donald Trump.

But the judge does not seem to be on board with that plan.

Plus, new reporting on the warning Trump received from his own lawyer that the FBI could

search his Mar-a-Lago estate if Trump continued to refuse to hand over classified documents.

And we begin tonight with the first televised hearing and Fannie Willis criminal case against

former president Trump and Georgia.

Today, we got a taste of what's to come.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said he would not allow Kenneth Cheesebroe

to sever his case from Sidney Powell.

Cheesebroe and Powell are among the 19 defendants in the Georgia racketeering case.

They have both asked for speedy trials.

Cheesebroe is accused of being the, quote, architect of the Trump electors scheme.

Well, Sidney Powell is facing a slew of charges that include an effort to improperly access

voting machines and rural coffee county, Georgia.

The defendants said their cases were different and they wanted to be tried separately.

Prosecutor Wooden's response then ate the way this works.
