has spent a lot you know over three decades serving his country in the capacity of

the federal bureau of investigations wow the list is endless of this man's

ascent to eventually becoming the assistant director of counterintelligence

correct me if I'm wrong sir wow this guy's resume is quite quite impressive

mr. David Zadis joining us today how are you today sir all right

very good very good thank you well like i said that we talked a little off air you are a busy man so

thank you so very much uh for taking the time um you know coming out of massachusetts it looks like

you got your degree from st michael's college in vermont you're an east Coast guy. What pushed you in the direction of law enforcement and getting into the FBI?

Well, you know, at the time I was teaching chemistry and getting a master's in chemistry

and coaching basketball.

And I became interested in the FBI.

And I actually entered into the FBI under what was then known as the science program.

I received my master's in chemistry in August of 1972.

I came into the FBI in September of 1972, and I can honestly say I haven't seen a test tube since.

Actually, now, of course, the FBI is with their forensic, we have a huge forensic lab.
