Peace be upon you, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

0:53.1

We praise Allah, Subhanahu wa Tani ala wa Astaghfirullah,

0:56.3

and blessings and salutations upon Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam his entire household we ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to bless them all and we continuously ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala's blessings for them and for every one of us.

1:10.3

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala grant us every form of goodness. Allah will ask you to grant us knowledge that will be beneficial.

1:20.3

O Allah, we ask you for knowledge that is beneficial, that we ask you to benefit us from the knowledge that you have granted us, or Allah, we ask you protection from knowledge that will be made no use of.

1:44.3

We ask you protection from eyes that will not cry for your sake, and we ask you for protection from a stomach that will never be filled from a soul that will never be content, and we ask you to protect us from a prayer that is made that is not answered by you.

2:00.3

My brothers and sisters, confusion today, regarding Islam and the Muslims, is not only prevalent amongst the non-Muslims, but even amongst the Muslims themselves, and I'd like to spend the next 45 minutes to an hour discussing certain aspects, definitely not every single aspect whereby we find ourselves slightly confused.

2:28.3

And without proper knowledge, we will not be able to correct the misconceptions or to cure ourselves of that particular confusion.

2:40.3

Because if you take a look at the time when Muhammad ﷺ recited the verses of Allah SWT to the people, they were in absolute confusion, but through revelation, confusion was removed.

2:58.3

The same ingredient would apply today. If we are confused, it is through revelation that that confusion will be dealt with, and it will be removed, because that is the source of all knowledge.

3:12.3

If you take a look at the Quran, it is the word of Allah SWT, but one of the biggest problems we have today is the confusion that it is enough for us to recite the Quran.

3:28.3

So now you have someone melodiously reciting the Quran, beautifully reading it, and if you were to ask them, my brother, do you know what it means, and they will tell you, that's not important.

3:41.3

That's a big confusion. It's something that's wrong, totally incorrect, absolutely erroneous.

3:49.3

We ask Allah SWT to grant us cure from this disease, and this is why in the Quran in so many places, Allah makes it very clear that this book has been revealed in order for you to ponder very deeply over its verses.

4:07.3

How are you going to ponder over the verses of Allah very deeply when you haven't even bothered yourself to know the meanings of the same revelation that is there to remove your entire confusion?

4:23.3

If I were to ask you who is the knower of the unseen, who is the one who is the owner of all knowledge, you would have to say Allah, my maker and yours, Allah is the one who is the owner of knowledge, Allah is the knower of the unseen completely, nothing is hidden from Allah SWT.

4:48.3

And we know this, like in one place in the Quran Allah says, in Surah Yusuf Allah says, above each person with knowledge is one who has more knowledge.

5:01.3

In fact, you get to Allah SWT who is known as Allah the owner of knowledge, but without contemplating over the verses of the Quran,

5:14.3

we are not going to be able to even start to cure our confusion or our ignorance.

5:20.3

And this is why Allah says in Surah Sad.

5:24.3

A blessed book that we have revealed to you in order for you to contemplate or to ponder very deeply over its verses
