Right, it is my understanding that you may have saved Caitlin Clark's season by protecting her from a snowbank.

Well, look, we were at dinner for her 22nd birthday and Kate Martin, her teammate and best friend, comes in and as sheepishly says that she was in

such a hurry parking to get to the birthday dinner that she accidentally parked on both a curb and a snow bank.

And so when dinner finished we all go out in the street and it was a couple of her teammates.

We're out there pushing this car out and we were all like,

Caitlin, you can't get anywhere near this car.

Like none of us want to be responsible for, you know,

injuring the goat. So Caitlin's the... She got assigned video, so she was in

charge of the video so we didn't, she didn't get run over.

You know, it seems like that kind of tension is at the heart of your peace with Caitlin.

She's a young woman both on her team but

also living this kind of parallel life that is different from every single person

around her. You know I think the world is full of you know some enormous percentage of

watchers and a very small percentage of people being watched and you know

Caitlin over the last 18 months has really the last 12 months has moved from

one of the watchers to the watched and it's like it's it's one of the most explosive forces in her life

right now trying to figure out how to still be the thing she wants to be while

also dealing with the fact that she's gotten everything she's ever wanted. For any star, the path to greatness is paved with pitfalls most of us will never encounter,

the burden of being the best person on the court.
