Countries around the world are urging India and Pakistan to show restraint as fighting escalates between the long-time rivals.

President Donald Trump called India's military strikes against Pakistan a quote shame.

They've been fighting for a long time, you know, they've been fighting for many, many decades,

and centuries, actually, if you really think about it.

No, I just hope it ends very quickly.

Pakistan says it will retaliate after India's deadly overnight air strikes, which New Delhi says

were in response to a civilian massacre last month in India administered Kashmir.

Islamabad denies being involved in that attack.

This man in India says he supports the latest strikes by his country's military.

It has started with a measured attack,

but this should not be the last.

I see more to come.

And we as the citizens of India should be ready for sacrifice.

Many countries say they're concerned about the conflict escalating further.

The conclave to select the next pope begins today at the Vatican.

And he continues to now enter into the conclave to elect the Roman Pontiff.

Who's being considered? Well, the saying goes, he who enters the conclave as Pope leaves

it as a cardinal. And Vatican diplomat Pietro Parolin is widely viewed as the frontrunner.

The last two conclaves lasted a couple days, and we won't know they've made up their mind

until we see white smoke come out of the chimney.

And many of the top contenders are Italian like Paralin.
