William Cooper, who is the author of a seminal conspiracy theory book called Behold a Pale Horse.

And last week's episode was all about the man who wrote the book, Behold a Pale Horse. This week's episode and the next

free episode are both going to be about the book itself. Behold a Pale Horse. If you're

listening to this podcast but have never read that book or have not at least heard of that book,

I would be genuinely surprised. It is arguably the most

influential conspiracy theory book ever published. If your favorite rapper has ever

name-checked the Illuminati, and they have, they probably first read about it in this book.

Or at least if you're my age and have a favorite rapper,

that's the case. I'm sure these young bucks just learn about the Illuminati on TikTok or something.

But the popularity of this book has not been at all diminished by the rise of the internet and

social media. As I record this, Behold a Pale Horse holds a very modest overall sales ranking of 29,032 in the Kindle Store.

But it's number four in the UFO category on the Kindle Store, number six in the Media Studies category on the Kindle store.

And number four in the occult UFOs section overall on Amazon. Not too shabby for a book that is more than 30 years old, I would argue.
