But then, D, what needs to happen is that the Philadelphia-Chicago game on

Black Friday has to end in a tie. So the chances are slim that Washington will be eliminated

from the postseason this weekend, even with a loss.

I mean, I guess we could see a tie, and then a Green Bay win and a Seattle win.

That would be, by the way, if Washington were eliminated this early, all right, heading into

week 13, it would be the earliest they've been eliminated mathematically from

the postseason since 1963. I would have thought at some point during the Snyder years,

we were eliminated mathematically this early. But apparently not. And that is with five weeks to play,

the last time Washington was eliminated mathematically with five games left was 1963. Now, plenty of

seasons where, practically speaking, they were eliminated. And I'd put this year into that category,
