that's going on in the world around us. It could cause a person to fear. It could cause us to be

anxious. It could cause us to worry. But Lord, you're on your throne. And your word tells us that

these things would come to pass. Lord, we trust you. We look to you. We pray for the salvation,

Lord of California's leadership. As hard as that might be to hear for some, as hard as it

might be to pray. We pray for the salvation of Gavin Newsom. Lord, we pray for the salvation of Maxine Waters.

Lord, we pray for the salvation of our democratic lawmakers, of our democratic government.

Lord, that is lost, that is against you.

Lord, we pray for their salvation tonight.

Lord, we pray for the salvation for those that are out on the streets, rioting,

and most of them don't even know what they're there for.

Lord, we pray that their eyes would be opened to see the truth.

And Lord, we pray that we would stand in the gap.

And Lord, for Israel tonight. Lord, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

We pray that you would surround the walls of your people. Lord, that you would fight against her enemies because they're fighting against you. Lord, you said they are the apple of your eye. And Lord, you love them as you love us.

Lord, we surrender this time to you tonight. We thank you for your word. And we ask that tonight

you would lead us and guide us into all truth. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. So tonight we're

looking at a message entitled The Command to Love. We'll be looking at Mark message entitled, The Command to Love.

We'll be looking at Mark chapter 12, but before we get there, I want to lay the foundation or set the stage for where we're going when Jesus gives us what we'll call the two greatest commandments,

and that's to love the Lord your God and to love your neighbor as yourself.

So let's turn to Mark chapter 11, and we're just going to look at what leads up to this point.

Remember, in Mark chapter 11 here, in verse 15, it says they came to Jerusalem.
