It's a national holiday. The entire week, not today. It's the NFL combine of course.

Off the year, Kuiper was just telling us stories when Todd was in third

grade and Kuiper was going through media guides Mel so you would just take wide

receivers as like lop two inches off them? Yeah press guides would get to me in August

usually I'd have to send out letters in late June and remind everybody to send out the

press guides, the media guys because that's all you had back in those days. There was no

computer. There was no way to get any

access to any players. I would have to call the school to find out how to make

sacks a player had or any tackles for loss or interceptions or whatever.

So you would get the media guys and you'd see the on the underclassmen the heights

in the weights and I would always look at a guy like a receiver at six three

they figure he's probably about six one six one and a half so you always

would go down an inch or two when any player really an offensive tackle it's

listed at six six

well he's probably six four okay if he's six five he's borderline tackle

right well I would say well that's gonna be six three he's got to be a guard right

he's gonna end up being six three's not six five so you know so you always took an inch or two off the heights and now like Todd had said when we were talking about this they have a kind of adjusted back to making it more in line with what we see
