To get into it, I've invited a very special guest. His name is Ross Pove and he's Tudor collector on Instagram and the guy behind Tudor.com. I wanted a true enthusiast take on this new tutor and Ross and I have crossed paths at Tudor events in the past and he's not only a wealth of knowledge for all things Tudor, but he's a genuinely lovely guy.

Ross, welcome to the show, it's a pleasure to have you on to talk Tudor and the new pelagos FXD. How you doing?

I'm doing great, thank you, yeah. And thanks for the invite.

Oh, absolutely, yeah. You know, I was racking my mind. I wanted to make make sure that I it wasn't just a question of maybe

finding someone who's who's a diver or love tool watches I wanted something a little bit more specific

because I think the FXD and we're gonna get into it it's just you and me We're only talking about this watch. It's going to be a fun episode.

But the FXD is this specific thing and I kind of wanted a specific tutor perspective on it and it was a pretty easy choice to at least send you a DM and see if you were keen to be on the show.

So you know I was trying to remember I think we met at the at a tutor launch at Basel

World what maybe 2014. Yeah maybe. I might have been. at Basel World, what may be 2014?

Yeah, maybe.

I might have been 2015.

I remember was all having to travel down to the venue on boats.

Right, yeah. And then the big reveal was in the dark in the dark. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it's wasn't the bumpyish ride, but it certainly wasn't a mill pond. And I remember the great reveal,

it was the Black Bay bronze,

so the original bronze.

That's right.

So it probably was 15 then.

Yeah, I think so, yeah.

And the reveal was the big brass bronze divers helmet being lifted up into the

ceiling on off the plinths and the watch has been there and yeah it was a great event.
