fall of the Soviet Empire, along with a new course that CJ is putting together that

level that you probably can't learn about it anywhere else but we're going to do our best to

give you an overview of it today and I want to I want to talk about this with you guys because

for all the talk of the Roman Empire I mean if we when we talk about the situation that we're

in right now is a country when we talk

about kind of the end of the of a century really almost of decadence in this country

and certainly the last 50 years since 1971, what always comes up is wrong.

Often you'll hear about Weymah Republic, which I think is a really bad example because

the crisis there only lasted actually a very brief period of time and it didn't result in the

dissolution of the country either. But when I look at all of the empire collapses that I'm familiar with. The one that seems to

bear the most resemblance to our current situation to me anyway is the Soviet Union.

Maybe not for the same reasoning behind the type of government

that was there, but I think the reason that it looks so similar is because we're

in the same place from a technological and economic standpoint, modern economic systems, etc.
