Well, hello my friends, and welcome to the Kyle Serif and show. Today is

Thursday it's February the 15th, nearly done with this week, halfway done with

Black History Month, and we've got an interesting concept to discover here.

Let's talk about Cold War.

Now, I'm a child, I think, of the early Cold War,

the end of the Cold War.

I grew up in the 80s.

And I thought I saw the end of the Cold War, but I didn't realize it and

there was no reason for me to think about it.

Apparently the political left and some people that consider themselves on the right are still in it.

And maybe that is the source of some of our conflict.

We had a huge, huge dust up where people lost their ever loving minds because a journalist decided to fly

to Russia and talk to a world leader who represents a country who is part of a country that we're not at war with and yet

they behaved like it was treacherous like it was evil like there was something happening

that was outside all norms, even though it is something

that's happened for all of real journalism. People have always gone and talked to the opposition.

In fact, the opposition used to sit and talk to each other. Leaders of nations that were even at war would sit down and speak to each other.

So that's strange.
