Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I just wish you could be in this lovely room

with me today. I have had so many cards, lovely, thoughtful things in the mail. I just

feel very loved in the midst of being this totally discombobulated body. I have a big

patch about three or four inches on my face now where I had a second digging out of a

the same cancer and I think they got it all, a skin cancer. And I of course am hobbling

around but I feel like I keep seeing the sweetness of my wonderful God every day all the time

and one of the sweetest things that has happened to me is that my wonderful joy, joy Clarkson,

my kindred spirit, by God's actual allowance has been able to be here with me for a couple

of weeks and I just tell you she is such a fun nurse. She's one of my most delightful

conversationalists and she makes a darn good pumpkin muffin. But anyway, I wanted us to have

a little conversation together because she's been so delightful to me before she goes

off to the wide wide world. So for those of you who don't know joy, she is the youngest

of my four children but she actually just finished, well why don't you tell everybody

what you just finished and where you are alive right now. Well, I just submitted my PhD

thesis as always confusing because people say can I call you doctor yet? And no, you can't

technically call me doctor yet. I'll just call you nurse. Yeah, I'm not doctor joy,

I'm nurse joy. So I just submitted my PhD in theology and the arts at St. Andrew's University

and I'm on my way to other things. It's been an adventure of a month in ways that neither
