Summary

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

What do Civil War soldiers, FBI cold cases, and Ed & Lorraine Warren all have in common? One woman: Courtney McInvale.

Raised in Connecticut with deep Southern roots, Courtney’s journey has been anything but ordinary. From her time interning with NCIS and tracking real-life criminals to founding Seaside Shadows Haunted History Tours and authoring paranormal history books, she’s lived her life on the thin line between investigation and intuition.

In this episode of The Grave Talks, Courtney dives into her newest book, Civil War Ghosts of Georgia, Volume One, exploring the haunted battlegrounds where the echoes of war refuse to fade. These are the places where soldiers still march, drums still beat, and the dead still have something to say.

Join us for stories that blend true crime, haunted history, and the supernatural, as Courtney reveals why some spirits simply can’t stay buried. This is Part Two of our conversation.

Like the woman in white who's out looking for her husband.

0:34.1

But I could see that in these battlefields being true. I could see that there would be actual

0:40.2

ghosts and spirits of women still there looking for their husbands. There notably is a lady in

0:47.5

white at Chickamauga battlefield in northwest Georgia and she is doing just that. Notably, there is the lady in white.

She's at Chickamauga.

0:57.5

She is by the Wilder Tower.

there might be the ghost.

But the widow Glenn's husband died in a different battle

1:13.6

months preceding the battle at Chickamauga. But this woman still appears in that area, looking out

1:22.3

from the woods, peering at the men, sometimes calling out for help. And they have sort of just deduced that

1:29.1

she was one of the women that came to find one of her loved ones on the battlefield. And she never

1:35.1

found him and is still looking for him. And I asked the park rangers there. And at the national

1:40.4

parks, they have to be very careful about saying anything's paranormal, but I said,

1:45.6

are you familiar with a lady and white legend? And they said, that's one of the oldest legends

1:49.7

ever recorded at Chickamauga.

1:53.0

Hmm, that's interesting. Yeah, yeah, that was one of the originals.
