The cabin we've called home for the last eight months sits tucked away in a little valley halfway between civilization and complete wilderness.

The pine trees and boulders that make up the landscape always remind me of my childhood in Colorado.

Combined with the fresh air smell and the cool summer breeze,

there really isn't anything to dislike about this place.

Which is strange because on paper,

I should be the happiest I've ever been in my life,

but I'm not.
