With a woman to look at culture from a Christian worldview, I'm John Stone Street with the point.

According to Britain's telegraph, the Church of England has decided to not allow same-sex

marriages by its clergy, the Church has been under pressure for some time to conform

to current cultural trends, some of the pressure coming from a sitting member of the government

and an influential bishop.

And the last, while certain details are still to be ironed out, quote, the Church said it

will not change its existing doctrine, that holy matrimony is between one man and one

woman for life.

This is if the Church could change doctrine.

This isn't as ringing an endorsement of biblical truth as it may sound, not only will the

Church apologize to the LGBTQ community, it will also quote, allow prayers of thanksgiving

dedication and for God's blessing for same-sex couples at ceremonies and churches.

In other words, they'll act as if a same-sex relationship is not sinful.

If the Church of England really wants to bless those, whether inside or outside its church,

they need to speak the truth about human nature and about relationships, even if it's not

popular.
