When people ask me, how much should I be involved in the church?

My answer is always, to whatever extent, you want God to be at work in your life.

You want to benefit from one person in the church, one gifting,

then you're going to get just a tiny fraction of what God wants to do in your life.

You've got no right to ask for the help of God in prayer

if you intentionally separate yourself from the means

of that help.
