And my name is Todd Heymans, and we're two ministers slash buds who love telling the stories of the Bible.

And we can't wait to share another one with you.

In fact, Matt, I believe this might be the last episode of 2024. Is that right? That's right. Say goodbye to

2024 and hello my baby. Hello, my darling. Hello, my ragtime girl. To 2025. Here we are.

We just gave you the WB treatment. Yeah. Todd, was New Year's a big deal for you growing up?

You know, I think in my mind it was.

Like, did we really do a whole lot of special things?

I don't know.

I mean, it was certainly a tradition to have family together to eat some ham.

You know, my family, I grew up in a Christian family, but there was a little bit of a superstition in that, you know,

you eat ham and blackout peas and greens for good luck.

Oh.

So this is a southern tradition.

A little bit of southern greens and ham.

So maybe not superstitious, but definitely a little stitious.

And so, you know, today, I mean, we still kind of do

some of these things, you know, as a family. The main one that I can recall from my growing up

years was Y2K. I mean, my goodness, we were all freaking out. Are the computers going to, you know, turn into computer zombies and get us?
