| 0:00.0 | Wow! |
| 0:16.0 | Hello and welcome to the Abroad Japan Podcast, probably the best way of learning about life in Japan, without actually being in Japan. |
| 0:22.0 | I'm your host Chris Broad and we're joined as always by Top London Radio DJ and Certified Japaner File, Mr. Pete Donaldson. |
| 0:29.0 | Yes, hello. What's different about the podcast, Chris? |
| 0:34.0 | It's his word. It's like, it's a weird, it's a weird, 4D podcast experience for me because I am back in London ladies and gentlemen sitting opposite Pete Donaldson's face. |
| 0:43.0 | It's really weird. I forgot what this feels like. |
| 0:46.0 | You're separated by a bank of monitors from a top. London Radio DJ, he knows how all of the buttons work or at least some of them anyway. |
| 0:53.0 | You're enjoying a cafe near a coffee because you say it's the coolest place to go. |
| 0:58.0 | Yes. |
| 0:59.0 | And you're just enjoying the fruits of London at the moment. |
| 1:02.0 | I'm a little bit reverse culture shock because I've been back about five days now and I've spent the last five days just sitting in a room editing videos. |
| 1:09.0 | So it's actually my first day to experience people and lights and excitement. |
| 1:13.0 | So I walked, I came here and two wrists through Central London and it's just really weird because I'm in London, not Japan. |
| 1:20.0 | It's a little bit easier to figure out what people are saying because obviously you speak Japanese, you understand what they say. |
| 1:27.0 | But I imagine there's a little bit more labour involved with the old noggin. |
| 1:30.0 | It is. |
| 1:31.0 | Yeah, so well I'm in Japan, right? |
| 1:33.0 | If I listen and make an effort I can work out people are saying that in the UK it's just bombarding my ears with people. |
| 1:38.0 | I just walked down Savile Row. |
| 1:40.0 | Oh, where people get lots of expensive stuff for a suit. |
| 1:42.0 | You're just here like these just very posh people like, oh, salted buckles today for 500 million or often going to Tenerife on the weekend. |
| 1:49.0 | It's just, always for accents. It's just kind of fun and exciting. |
