Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I am absolutely thrilled that you join me so often

and I get so many letters from you and I'm just thrilled and I have a really big surprise

for you this week. I think you're going to be so delighted to hear a friend that I'm going

to be interviewing today. But many of you know from our past books that for three years

our children were involved in a production in the life of Christ professionally and then

overseas in Moscow and it really shaped their faith. They lived out on stage and they

lived out these characters and a play called The Promise. And so when I talked to my adult

children today they say you know that was such a grounding foundational part of our faith

that we could live through the stories every day all the time, every night. We would do

it three months out of the year, every year for three years. So you can imagine my delight

when last year I was, it was just before we were getting ready to move to Oxford. And

one of my friends said you really need to watch this wonderful new series called The

Hoson. And so Clay and Joel and I turned it on and we were absolutely blown away by the

beauty of it, by the script, by the reality of the people and it brought all of us back

to those moments that I've described before of living into the reality of the life of Christ.
