Hey everybody, welcome to the chopping block. Every couple weeks, the four of us get together

0:04.4

and give the industry insider's perspective on the crypto topics of the day.

0:08.4

So quick intro is first we got Tom, the DeFi Maven and Master of Memes. Next up we've

0:12.5

got Robert, Crypto Connoisseur and Captain of Compound. Next we have Terune, the Gigabrain

0:17.2

and Grand Poo-Bod Connet. And then we have C, Myself, the head height man at Dragonfly.

0:22.1

Of course, we today have a special guest joining us, the great and illustrious Andre Cronier,

0:27.3

who's coming out of his early retirement to grace us with his presence and give us his

0:32.2

perspectives. Hey Andre, good to have you.

0:35.0

1:05.4

But real quick, before I start off the show, I just want to say all four of us, I guess

1:09.0

maybe five of us in some sense are early stage investors in crypto. But I want to

1:12.8

caveat, nothing we say here is investment advice or legal advice or even life advice.

1:17.6

So Andre, how's retirement? Are you retired?

1:23.0

It isn't. So retirement, not that fortunate or lucky yet. At this point in time, it's

1:30.1

just a different vertical. DeFi just wasn't for me anymore. That's really the only shift.

1:37.3

It's an industry that I think is still going to do well and I think it is still going to

1:42.0

evolve well. I think being an doxed individual, there's just more and more and more risk to

1:50.6

participate in traditional DeFi systems. And for that reason, originally, the plan was
