Beautiful morning in South Carolina. The sun is just about to rise, I think, maybe 10 minutes away from sunrise. So I've got

early daylight, beautiful sky off to the east, walking along that trail in the wooded area

that is near our community. To get here, I walk beside the lake behind our community.

This is the lake where the alligator lives.

And if you've been listening to walking his fitness for a while, you're familiar with the alligator.

I mentioned it often, but haven't mentioned it in a while.

That's because I haven't seen the alligator in a while.

In fact, a few months ago, one of our neighbors said they

heard that they, whoever they are, came and got the alligator. It was a small gator, about four

feet, but of course alligators get large. And I think at some point, whoever is in charge of the lakes in our community thought,

probably not a good idea to leave that gator in the lake and let it continue to get large.

And there's actually an alligator farm, probably about 20, 25 miles away.

And I think that's where they take the alligators.

And you can actually pay and go and see all these alligators.

You know, they're behind these large fences.
