Romans 9.

Romans 9, ladies and gentlemen, it's taking us...

I think it's taking us three years to get here.

Romans chapter 9.

Very, very, oh my goodness, chapter 9, chapter 10, chapter 11.

So many commentators, so many of those in church today and or in antiquity

just glossed over these three chapters

because they're so hard.

They're so difficult.

If you wanted to go to a class of gifted kids

who are super bright, you know like the kind of school Elon Musk might have gone to or did he even go to school?

Did he even need school?

This is where a special bus would pull up and drop off these geniuses and they would go to their

little class on how things work and chapters 9, 10, and 11 is the genius course of not only the book of Romans, but in much of the Bible.

And so we're going to go through this methodically.

Why?

Because God put it in the Bible. We're going chapter by

chapter verse by verse, which means God wants us to know it. So we need to put it

on to remember back in school back in 1850s, it's 1860s, they would tell us, put on your thinking caps.
