Three years ago came across the startling statistic that web usage was growing at 2,300% a year.

So I decided I would try and find a business plan that made sense in the context of that growth.

And I picked books as the first best product to sell online,

which are making a list of like 20 different products that you might be able to sell.

And books were great, that's the first best,

because books are incredibly unusual in one respect.

And that is that there are more items in the book category, and there are items than any other category by far.

30 years ago today, an unknown Jeff Bezos decides to sell used books online and was mocked quite a bit for a very long time for a stupid idea

and is now the second richest person in the world and Amazon dominates everything.

And his wife has giant fake lips and fake hoots.

Wow, that's a good point.

His business acumen is more interesting to me.

And the point he makes, yeah, it's funny, I was just looking at electric razors the other day

and being dizzied by the variety of features and different products and stuff like that.
